Colorado Crisis Services provides free, confidential and immediate support from trained professionals and peer specialists, available 24/7/365. Colorado residents can also seek services in-person at our walk-in centers, regardless of ability to pay. The Colorado Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally funded program that helps eligible hard-working Colorado families, seniors and individuals pay a portion of their winter home heating costs. Our goal is to help bring warmth, comfort and safety to your home and family by assisting with heating costs.
The Douglas County General Assistance Program is intended to help with the one-time emergency need to address issues of health, safety and/or well-being. To be eligible for this help, applicants must show how they can meet their future expenses.
The Bill Payment Assistance program provides emergency financial assistance with past-due energy bills for income-qualified Colorado residents throughout the year.
The GOALS program is a Two-Generation (2Gen) housing program for families experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness from the city of Aurora and Arapahoe and Douglas County. GOALS provides families with a private room while they develop long-term goals for stability. Families are provided a safe space for four to nine months and one year of follow-up support.
