This free, family event will blend Western tradition with inclusion, creating an accessible, welcoming experience for individuals of all abilities and their families. But we can only make it happen with community support!

This event will share Medicaid-related updates on the most recent CMS guidance, the implementation timeline of H.R. 1 for key changes such as semi-annual renewals and work requirements, and opportunities for stakeholders to engage with us in the process. The webinar will also address the top concerns we heard from more than 700 respondents to our H.R. 1 survey.

The Douglas County Youth Initiative (DCYI) is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Outstanding Youth Awards. Each year, DCYI honors exceptional young people who have overcome personal adversity and created positive change in their lives. These awards recognize teenagers ages 13–19 who have triumphed over great odds and now serve as inspirations and role models within our community. If you know a deserving young person, please consider submitting a nomination.

The Arapahoe County Mayors and Commissioners Youth Awards (ACMCYA) recognizes teenagers who have overcome obstacles and risen to challenges life has presented. This award is unique because it encompasses youth who live and attend school in Arapahoe County, including those in traditional classroom settings, group homes, alternative schools, emancipated youth, and individuals with disabilities. The ACMCYA celebrates the resilience, achievements, and diverse experiences of all youth, including those with disabilities. Please nominate any Seniors (grade 12) who live and attend school in Arapahoe County by March 2, 2026
