Manatt Health Strategies recently conducted an analysis of Colorado’s Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program cost drivers and compared these trends to several states. Following the analysis, Manatt analyzed options for potential short and long-term policy changes to improve the affordability and sustainability of the Medicaid and CHP+ programs.

The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) will share the results of the Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) feasibility study directed by Colorado House Bill 23-1300. The study examines opportunities to expand HRSN-related services and supports through Colorado’s Medicaid programs, including housing, food and nutrition, coverage, extreme weather, and social and community support.

Focused on the implementation of House Reconciliation bill (H.R. 1, formerly the One Big Beautiful Bill Act). The webinar will also address the top concerns we heard from more than 700 respondents to our H.R.1 survey, including: Services covered by Medicaid State budget challenges and Medicaid sustainability work Provider fees, payments and tax provisions. The importance of prioritizing our north star: mitigating coverage losses and the down streaming catastrophic consequences to Coloradans, providers, and the economy.

The Arapahoe County Mayors and Commissioners Youth Awards (ACMCYA) recognizes teenagers who have overcome obstacles and risen to challenges life has presented. This award is unique because it encompasses youth who live and attend school in Arapahoe County, including those in traditional classroom settings, group homes, alternative schools, emancipated youth, and individuals with disabilities. The ACMCYA celebrates the resilience, achievements, and diverse experiences of all youth, including those with disabilities. Please nominate any Seniors (grade 12) who live and attend school in Arapahoe County by March 2, 2026

Douglas County is excited to announce that the IDD Supportive Housing Grant will open soon. This grant provides funding for a new, large-scale supportive housing project that expands housing options for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in Douglas County. The goal is to promote safe, stable housing with ongoing, person-centered supportive services that foster independence, safety, and community inclusion.
