Douglas County IDD Supportive Housing Grant Opportunity
Douglas County is excited to announce that the IDD Supportive Housing Grant will open soon. This grant provides funding for a new, large-scale supportive housing project that expands housing options for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in Douglas County. The goal is to promote safe, stable housing with ongoing, person-centered supportive services that foster independence, safety, and community inclusion.

Total Award: $2.5 million for one project
Grant Term: Three years
Payment Structure: Annual payments up to $833,333, subject to contract terms and performance
Application Period: January 16 – January 30, 2026
Eligibility: Open to nonprofits, local government entities, housing authorities, and qualified for-profit entities serving individuals with IDD in Douglas County
Applicants must propose a new supportive housing project of meaningful scale, demonstrate experience providing housing or residential/supportive services for individuals with IDD, and show a credible plan for leveraging additional funding to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
