RISE Classes for Brain Injury with Arapahoe Community College
An evidence-based program that helps adults with acquired brain injuries strengthen cognitive, executive functioning, and self-advocacy skills after rehabilitation. The program focuses on building confidence and practical life skills so participants can successfully navigate daily life, relationships, and community involvement.
Recovery from an acquired brain injury (ABI) doesn't end when rehabilitation services do. For many individuals, the greatest challenges begin when they return to everyday life and are back to managing schedules, communicating needs, building confidence, navigating relationships, and reconnecting with their communities. That's where RISE comes in. Offered through Arapahoe Community College's Workforce & Community Programs, RISE is an innovative, evidence-based educational program designed to help adults with acquired brain injury build the cognitive, executive functioning, and self-advocacy skills needed to thrive long after rehabilitation.
