Planning the Path Forward: Financial, Legal, Academic, and Independent Living Strategies and Resources for Families of Neurodiverse Children, Teens, and Young Adults
A collaborative panel discussion designed to help families navigate the transition to adulthood for neurodiverse teens and young adults.
September 12, 2026 from 10:00am - 12:00pm
A collaborative conversation designed to support families as they navigate the many decisions involved in preparing their young person for adulthood and greater independence. Every young person’s journey toward adulthood looks different and knowing what steps to take, and when to take them, can feel overwhelming for the entire family. Join us for a thoughtful panel discussion bringing together experts in financial planning, legal considerations, both private and public education, and independent living supports to help families better understand the resources, decisions, and planning strategies that shape a successful transition into adulthood. Families will gain insight into how to prepare for the years ahead, support long-term success, and create a roadmap that aligns with their young person’s individual goals, strengths, and vision for the future. This conversation is especially valuable for families of neurodiverse teens and young adults who are beginning to explore what comes next, while also a great place to start for families who want to plan for their child’s future.
