Children’s Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Michael Hoffman, a Pediatric Psychologist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, for this presentation. Dr. Hoffman has a hearing difference and uses a cochlear implant and a hearing aid.  Dr. Hoffman will present specific strategies for discussing deaf/hard-of-hearing identity with teens, its intersection with other multicultural identities, and how to support autonomy, a desire for social belonging, and positive sense of identity.  A panel discussion will follow the presentation.
