Come join us for a fun, welcoming music class designed for young adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities! In this upbeat group, participants will explore rhythm, singing, movement, and instruments while building social connections and self-expression through music. No musical experience needed—just bring your love of music and willingness to try something new!

This class supports creativity, confidence, and community in a safe and supportive environment. Facilitated by a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), this group utilizes evidence-based music interventions to support social interaction, communication, emotional expression, motor coordination, and self-confidence. Participants will engage in structured and improvisational music-making, including singing, instrument play, movement to music, and collaborative activities in a supportive and inclusive setting. No prior music experience is required. Your instructor, Sonia Dominguez, MT-BC, CYT, ASDI is a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and humanistic clinician with a background in serving people of all ages achieve their goals through therapeutic music experiences. With a degree in music therapy and additional training in yoga, psychological first aid, polyvagal theory, and autism-specialized care, she is equipped to support the neurological, emotional, social, motoric, and sensory needs of those who work with her. Sonia is the Lead Music Therapist at Creative Remedies, a creative arts therapy and education collective located in Aurora, Colorado.
