Developed by international multi-hyphenate theatre artist, Kelly Hunter, the Hunter Heartbeat method is a series of sensory games centering on the human voice and body derived from Shakespeare’s poetic exploration of how it feels to be alive. Each session will be led by Phamaly Theatre Company’s Artistic Director, Ben Raanan. What makes the class so dynamic is not only its foundation in creative dramatic play but also its design to empower and build social-emotional skills, language acquisition, community, and a sense of self and self-expression. Research shows that engaging with The Arts develops skills in self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and decision making.
