Do you work for or know of a local nonprofit organization that is a champion of the arts? Whether it’s preserving history, theatrical presentations or teaching the joys of painting and dance to a new generation, these organizations may be eligible to apply for Scientific and Cultural Facilities District grant funds (SCFD).
Applications Due by Sept. 10th
SCFD is seeking organizations whose primary purpose aligns with SCFD’s mission of enlightening and entertaining the public through the production, presentation, exhibition, advancement or preservation of visual or performing arts, history or science. Organizations that fit the description and serve a majority of Douglas County residents are invited to apply for eligibility through Sept. 10.
Those deemed eligible will be able to apply for SCFD grant funds in early 2026. Please note: Castle Rock and Larkspur have opted out of the district; organizations within these areas are not eligible to apply.
