Foundational Succession Planning for Families
Foundational Succession Planning for Families
Foundational Succession Planning involves making a plan for the future of a family member with a disability. Generously funded by the Colorado Developmental Disabilities Council (CDDC), the Colorado Office of Employment First (COEF) is offering 50 parents or guardians, age 65 and up, individualized foundational succession planning.
Foundational Succession Planning often includes the process of passing over family leadership roles. For some families this may mean planning for another family member to take over caregiving responsibilities. For others, this may mean having to rely on more formal types of services and support options.
